Jessica has been buying and selling horses for clients and the farm's school program for over ten years. Her experience in buying horses personally, for the program, and for others, has given her the experience to not only buy for the farms and clients needs, but also match our sales horses with the right long term home.

Importing
Jessica has recently started importing horses for clients and would like to offer that service to those in the Richmond area! Looking for an import but don't want to take the risk of buying without trying? We might have one that would fit the bill in our sale barn.

Rain Czech
Reno is a 2017 Westphalian gelding by the stallion Go-On TS and was imported in the fall of 2022. He is a gentle giant standing at 18h, but is kind, sweet, and doesn't ride "big." Takes a joke, and will pack around a junior rider or adult amateur. Good lead change and beautiful jump and flat work. Lovely at the shows, kind, and easy to have in the barn – cannot say enough good things about this horse! Can do the hunters, jumpers, or would make an amazing equitation horse. Priced mid to upper five figures which will increase as he gains more show experience stateside.

Fresco
Fergus is a striking 2010 gelding by the popular stallion Zambezi. Easy on the flat, and very careful over jumps with an automatic lead change. Was champion at his first "A" show in Lexington and could not have been easier to handle! He would be perfect for a junior ready to get in the show ring now whether that be in the hunters, jumpers, or equitation. Easy to deal with in the barn and is mainly ridden by a short stirrup kid when he isn't jumping bigger with the trainer! Priced in the mid to high five figures which will increase with hunter show miles.

Reliant K
Reliant K is a 2009 gelding by the popular stallion Popeye K. He started his career in dressage and was purchased by an adult rider who stopped riding last year due to a non-riding related injury. At that time, he was started over fences and showed last year in the novice jumpers (2'6) and green hunter classes (2'9-3'.) His owner has decided that she is having more fun with her dogs and feels that Eli should move on to his next rider so his talents don't go to waste!
Currently being ridden by a junior and an adult amateur. Easy to live with and handle day to day at the farm.

Cinco
Happy Hour, or Cinco as he is known around the barn, is a ten year old 15.3 TB gelding with all of the personality! This guys has done the hunters and jumpers with his amateur owner as well as participating in our IEA and IHSA shows. Showed in the 2'6 hunters and jumpers at the TIPS show in Aiken 2021 and was a star! Super brave, always jumps, with a good lead change.
Rides out, has schooled cross country and goes on trails. Can go in almost any direction.

Bird
Cupid's Sparrow, Bird, is a 2017 TB gelding. He has been schooling 2'6 at home and showing 2' and in flat classes locally for the last year. Very sweet and personable, he is a love to have in the barn. We could see him excelling as an amateur or juniors 2'-2'6 horse. Does his lead changes, rides out, and is very easy to live with. Has his whole career ahead of him and is ready to go!

Sparky
Sparky is a 12 year old 14.2 black registered APHA (papers in hand) gelding. Sparky had some western training in his background, and has been doing lessons and learning to jump for the last six months. He is still green, but very willing, kind and safe. Could continue as a hunter or could pony club or be a 4H horse. Just a great pony! Easy keeper, videos available.

Zippy is a 13 year old 14.1h POA (papers in hand) gelding that has been with us for six years as a lesson pony. Cute mover with an adorable jump. Has been one of our ponies that we've leased for the local shows. He is ready for his own person.

Bacardi
Bacardi is a 16.2 TB gelding by Freud. 13 years old, he has been a 2'6 local horse. Has miles in the greens and the thoroughbreds, but for the last two years he has been leased and shown by an adult amateur in the 2'6 classes. Bacardi has been used in our lesson program and in IHSA and IEA classes, but performs best when he has his own person. Has a lead change, very honest. Would be a great show horse for someone on a budget on the local circuit.

Sassafras
Sassafras is an adorable 14.1, 2013 mare looking for her next rider. An absolute gem, she is a barn favorite and is one of the easiest ponies to ride. Will go on trails, jumped the ditch no problem and will ride in the field. Will tote around a beginner but also has the scope and step to do the 2'6. Cute mover, cute jump, and an easy lead change, this pony will have quite the career! Is the same everyday, and at home and the shows. Requires no prep. Will jump from anywhere, no stop, spook or sillies, this girl is really special.
